• Line: A linear mark positioned from one specific place to another.

• Shape: A 2D shape that is formed by the connection of edges.

• Form / Volume: The amount of space a certain shape has.

• Color: Values of the light spectrum that give your painting/picture a form of visual light.

• Value/Tone: The dark and lights either taking in more or less light, making it darker or lighter shades of the same color.

• Texture: Surface quality or the visual characteristics of a specific surface.

• Space: The area within/out of shapes and other things.

• Perspective: The illusion of a 3-D plane in a 2-D object.
